This toolkit was put together by the New Economy Coalition’s Rural Electric Cooperative Working Group, which includes groups around the US working with REC member-owners.
The New Economy Coalition (NEC)’s working group is a place for groups to learn about and share experiences with REC work. We have a monthly meeting, sometimes with guest speakers or working on collaborative projects: like this toolkit and a one-day network gathering in the summer of 2018 at NEC’s CommonBound conference.
You can learn more about joining NEC here, and when you join, NEC staff can connect you with the REC working group. We encourage you to reach out to any of the REC working group members directly or contact us about the toolkit at info@ruralpower.us.
The working group will likely organize another REC Network Gathering at a future CommonBound conference, so that would also be a great way to connect with us and the broader new economy movement.
